Oconomowoc Branch Scholarship

The American Association of University of Women, Oconomowoc Branch, a non-profit organization that advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, and research, will award one 1000.00 scholarships for Spring 2016.


Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Must be a graduating high school senior girl, living in Oconmowoc Area School District, and be planning to attend a post secondary school for the Fall 2016 semester
  2. Applicants must submit a typed essay of 250-500 words answering the following questions:
2016 is a pivotal year for politics, and many important issues will be debated in the upcoming months. What issue or issues concerning women and girls should be addressed this campaign season, and why?

Must submit the following information which will include:
Cover letter introducing themselves, name, address, phone number, email address, and name of school attending this fall.
Recent school transcript
A reference letter from a recent school teacher

Entries must be postmarked by May 2nd and should be sent to Chardy Booth, 3848 Sawyer Road, Oconomowoc, WI 53066.  Scholarship recipients will be selected by the end of May with awards given in June.  For any questions, contact Chardy Booth, 262-567-2643, chardybooth3@gmail.com
