2012 Public Power Scholarship Program- Oconomowoc Utilities and WPPI Energy

2012 Oconomowoc Utilities and WPPI Energy Public Power Scholarship:

This scholarship is awarded to any full-time student who is a customer or whose guardian is a customer of Oconomowoc Utilities.  Dependents of utility personnel are not eligible.
 
Applicants Must:
-Be a full-time student
-Be a customer of Oconomowoc Utilities
-Complete an essay on the theme:  The Benefits of Public Power to Our Community.  Essays should be 500-1000 words, typed, double-spaced and include the following information:
  • Student's first and last name, home address, phone number
  • Name of legal guardian
  • Oconomowoc Utilities Account Information:  Name on account, billing address, account number
 
 
Amount:
 2-$500 scholarships
 
Deadline:
Deadline for submitting essays is March 31, 2012 to:

Waukesha Deputy Sheriff Association Local Scholarship

Waukesha Deputy Sheriff Association Local Scholarship:

This scholarship is awarded to any full-time student residing in Waukesha County who plans to pursue higher education. 
 
Applicants Must:
-Be a full-time student
-Be a resident of Waukesha County
-Must maintain a GPA of 2.5
-Complete an application available in the OHS Student Services office
 
Amount:
 $1000 for freshman year of college
 
Deadline:
must be returned on or before March 1, 2012 to:  Waukesha Deputy Sheriff Association, PO Box 236, Waukesha, WI  53187

Dodge County Registered Nurses Scholarship:

This scholarship is awarded to any full-time student residing in Dodge County who plans to pursue higher education for nursing. 
Applicants Must:
-Be a full-time student
-Plan to pursue some form of post-secondary education in nursing.
-Complete an application available in the OHS Student Services office from Susan Verhagen, Counselor
Amount:
 $300/year up to $1200 for four years

2011-12 The General Federation of Woman's Clubs Wisconsin's Rolling Hills District Scholarship :

This scholarship is awarded to any full-time student pursuing some form of post-secondary education in a health-related field (including medical, pharmacy, physical therapy, nursing, etc.). 
 
 
Applicants Must:
-Be a full-time student
-Plan to pursue some form of post-secondary education in a health related career.
-Complete an application available by the OHS Student Services office from Susan Verhagen, Counselor
 
Amount:
 up to 2 - $500 scholarships
 
Deadline:
due in the OHS Student Services Office by February 15, 2012
