2016 Pewaukee Area Arts Council Scholarship:


The Pewaukee Area Arts Council (PAAC) is pleased to announce that it will be awarding college scholarships to talented students in the Lake Country area. Students that wish to pursue and practice their creative passions (dance, painting, drawing, theatre, opera, piano, poetry, set construction, video, animation, modern dance, photography, costume design, etc) are invited to apply. The area covered is limited to students living in the Arrowhead, Pewaukee, Oconomowoc and Kettle Moraine districts.

The scholarships, worth up to a total of $1,500, will be awarded based in part on talent and teacher/mentor
recommendation in the areas of visual, literary and the performing arts. Applicants must be graduating from a
public, private, parochial or alternative high school in 2016 and plan on majoring in the arts at a BA/BS or BFS program at a 2 or 4-year college, university or trade school.

Your assistance in bringing this scholarship to the attention of worthy students would be greatly appreciated.
Replacement forms can be downloaded from our website at www.pewaukeearts.org. Questions or online

Each application is due by April 1st 2016 and should consist of the following:
 Applicant should complete steps 1-3 and submit via email or mail to our P.O. Box:
1. A completed application form
2. An artist statement (100 words or less each)
3. Portfolio submission: two sample works (in digital format/jpg/ pdf OR flat reproductions /photographs,
8x10 or smaller). PAAC cannot guarantee the safe return of original works. For visual or performance
arts, a brief recording, internet link or demo CD is acceptable. Limit email attachments to 10mb.
4. Student should also request one or more teacher/mentors to complete the recommendation form.
Teacher/Mentor should complete the recommendation form and email it to paacscholarship@gmail.com or mail
in a sealed envelope to our P.O. Box.

2016 Nature Hill Intermediate School Scholarship

2016 Nature Hill Intermediate School Scholarship :

Nature Hill Intermediate School is offering two $1000 scholarships to an Oconomowoc High School senior (s) who intends to enter into the educational field. While all students are encouraged to apply, those who attended Nature Hill will be given special consideration.

Applicants Must:


Successfully obtain an OHS diploma

Have a desire to enter into a career in education after graduation

Demonstrate a commitment to education both in and out of school

Complete an application available at  OHS Student Services or on Naviance

Amount:
2- $1000

WCTC - William A. Baumgart "Excellence in Education" Scholarship: 

Applicants Must:
-Have completed (or be currently in) a WCTC Transcripted Credit or Youth Options Course - having earned a grade of "C" or better
-Be on track to graduate from a Waukesha County public high school during the 2015/16 school year with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
-Submit a completed scholarship application by the due date (April 8, 2016)
-Provide two recommendation forms as part of the application
-Apply for admission to and attend Waukesha County Technical College for the Fall 2016 semester
-Complete an application available by the OHS Student Services office

 $500 scholarship
