Waukesha Deputy Sheriff Association Local Scholarship 2014:

This scholarship is awarded to any full-time student residing in Waukesha County who plans to pursue higher education.

Applicants Must:
-Be a full-time student
-Be a resident of Waukesha County
-Must maintain a GPA of 2.5
-Complete an application available in the OHS Student Services office
Amount:
 $1000 for freshman year of college

2014 Watertown Conservation Club Scholarship

2014 Watertown Conservation Club Scholarship

Scholarship offers $1000 to a graduating senior who resides in the Watertown Unified School District  and who plans to do college work leading to a degree in the area of conservation or environmental studies. 
  • Plan to do college work leading to a degree in the area of conservation or environmental studies.  The areas of study could also include:  meteorology, civil engineering, science education, geography or agriculture.
  • Be able to provide information regarding their academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, and community activities
  • Complete an application (available from Susan Verhagen, Student Services)
  • Submit a letter of recommendation
  • Submit an official transcript
Amount:
 up to $1000 ($500 a year for two years)

Wisconsin School Counselor Association Scholarship 2014

Career Cruising and Method Test Prep Award for Unprecedented Success


The Wisconsin School Counselor Association (WSCA), in partnership with Career Cruising & Method Test Prep, has established the WSCA High School Scholarship Program to assist students with their post-secondary education.

FOUR $1,000.00 Scholarships Will Be Awarded


ELIGIBILITY: High School Seniors who:
v  Are attending a public or private high school in Wisconsin and,
v  Will be attending a post-secondary education program during the 2014-2015 school year.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES:
  1. Type a one page essay (single or double-spaced) describing how a school counselor or school counseling program has helped you plan, decide, resolve, or grow in some area(s) of your life.
  2. Copy & Paste your Entry Information below into the body of your email and attach your essay to wscascholarships@gmail.com

DEADLINE:  Entries must be received no later than November 1, 2013; for scholarship consideration.

**Requirements**
  • 1 page essay (single or double-spaced) – essays longer than 1 page will be disqualified.
  • Type your essay in a Word Document using no smaller than 12 point font and 1” margins.
  • DO NOT put your name anywhere on your essay – doing so will result in it being disqualified.

BigSun Scholarship 2014

BigSun Scholarship


The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in.

Deadline        -  June 20, 2014  

Amount of Award  -        $500.00

 

The successful applicant will be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute and currently involved in some sport at that institution or in the community..
