NAACP - Waukesha County Branch Scholarship 2012

-Must be at least 16 years old and must be high school junior or graduating high school senior

-Be of African American descent, citizen of the United States, resident of the Metropolitan Milwaukee area
-Cannot be employees, ex-officio members or members of the Executive Committee of the Waukesha NAACP or close relatives(children and/or spouses)
-Must possess a grade point average sufficent to be admitted to an accredited college or university
-Must be planning on being a full-time undergraduate student

-Submit a completed scholarship application (no attachments), 3 letters of recommendation (one high school teacher, one high school guidance counselor and one personal  reference{NAACP reference is recommended}), official transcript, and copy of application for admission or letter of acceptance from college or university.  All these materials need to be submitted by the due date (May 30, 2012)

Amount:

One winner will receive $10,000 and 5 winners will receive $1000

Order Sons of Italy in America Scholarship 2012- Michael and Chris Manno Scholarship

The Filippo Mazzei Greater Milwaukee Lodge #2763 and Illinois-Wisconsnin Grand Lodge is offering two scholarships in the amount of $2000 and $1000 to 2 graduating high school seniors who are of Italian-American descent.

Applicants Must:

-Be a resident of Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington or Waukesha County

-Be a senior, expecting to graduate in June 2012

-Be of Italian-American descent

-Submit a completed scholarship application, 2 letters of recommendation, official transcript, copy of ACT/SAT test scores, wallet size photo of yourself and personal statement by the due date (April 30, 2012) with all the necessary requirements

 

Amount:

1-$2000 and 1-$1000

Okauchee Area Business Association Scholarship 2012 

The Okauchee Area Business Association is offering three scholarships in the amount of $1000 to 3 graduating high school seniors.

Applicants Must:

-Be a resident of the Town of Oconomowoc OR a student attending either Arrowhead High School or Oconomowoc High School

-Be a senior, expecting to graduate in June 2012 and planning to attend a 2-year or 4-year college
-Have a GPA of 3.0 or better

-Be involved in his or her community and in extra-curricular school activities

-Submit an essay entitled, How Do I Plan to Achieve My Lifetime Goals?

-Submit a completed scholarship application and essay by the due date (May 11, 2012) with all the necessary requirements
