Athnet Sports Recruiting

We help athletes find opportunities to play college sports and get an athletic scholarship. Our free online athlete profiles are used by over 95% of college coaches to identify and evaluate potential recruits. These profiles give recruits the opportunity to get discovered by college coaches and proactively contact the colleges of their choice.

How to Enter

Write a 400-500 word essay describing how the lessons you have learned through playing sports have positively impacted you as you pursue your college education.
Essay due June 1, 2015
Email your essay and other required information to scholarships@athleticscholarships.net.

Who is Eligible

  • Must be a current or former athlete at the high school or college level.
  • Must be a current college student or high school senior entering college.

Applicants Must:
  • Be a graduating high school senior of a Waukesha County High School
  • Plan to do college work leading to a degree as a medical doctor or nurse at an accredited college or university in the state of Wisconsin
  • Rank in the upper half of your high school class
  • Show evidence of financial need
  • Complete an application (available from OHS Student Services)
  • Provide a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, employer, community leader or another individual
  • Provide other pages as needed for personal statement and list of activities
  • Submit an official transcript and copies of standardized test scores (ACT/SAT)
  • Have a parent/guardian sign this application as indicated in the Finances section
  • Enclose a recent snapshot or class picture (optional)

The Chuck Petersen Memorial Scholarship consists of a one-time award of $5000, to be made payable to a graduating senior’s selected college or university. The winner of this award will be announced in the spring, and presented at Oconomowoc High School’s Senior Honors Night.

Dodge County Registered Nurses Scholarship 2015

Dodge County Registered Nurses Scholarship:


This scholarship is awarded to any full-time student residing in Dodge County who plans to pursue higher education for nursing. Determination of the successful candidate will be based upon scholastic achievement, need, leadership, and character.

Applicants Must:
-Be a full-time student
-Resident of Dodge County
-Plan to pursue some form of post-secondary education in nursing at an accredited School of Nursing located in Wisconsin.  This does not include an LPN.
-Complete an application available in the OHS Student Services office from Susan Verhagen, Counselor


Amount
 $300/year up to $1200 for four years
