2014 Michael J. Hogan Memorial Scholarship

2014 Michael J. Hogan Memorial Scholarship (Oconomowoc):

This scholarship is awarded to two seniors at Oconomowoc High School showing a financial need and acceptance into a formal educational program at an accredited school or college.  The selection committee highly encourages applicants who may not necessarily have a high grade point average but have in other ways demonstrated ability and motivation to succeed in a college program.

Applicants Must:

 Complete an application available in the OHS Student Services office

 Complete an essay that tells about yourself and your interests and ambitions

 Provide financial information to demonstrate financial need

 Provide two letters of support (one from an OHS staff member and one from an employer, church leader, family member, etc. who knows you outside of school)

Amount:

2 - $2000 Scholarships

CHUCK PETERSEN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP  2014


The Chuck Petersen Memorial Scholarship consists of a one-time award of $5000, to be made payable to a graduating senior’s selected college or university. The winner of this award will be announced in the spring, and presented at Oconomowoc High School’s Senior Honors Night.

Applicants Must:

-Be a senior at Oconomowoc High School

-Submit an application available at www.chuckpetersen.com by February 28, 2014

-Submit two letters of recommendation and a high school transcript with their application

Selection of the recipient will be based on:

• personal integrity
• leadership
• accomplishment
• team motivation 
• willingness to contribute toward the success of others

City of Waukesha Fire Department Local 407 Scholarship 2014:

Applicants Must:

-Be enrolled in the 2014 school year at Waukesha County Technical College in the Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement or Nursing Programs

-Be a resident of Waukesha County

-Have a high school/higher education grade average 2.5 or higher

Amount:

 3 $500 scholarships will be awarded in a one time sum to be used for the student's fall 2014 year at school
