Greater Milwaukee Lodge #2763 and Illinois-Wisconsin Grand Lodge is offering two scholarships in the amount of $2000 and $1000 to 2 graduating high school seniors who are of Italian-American descent.

Applicants Must:
-Be a resident of Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington or Waukesha County
-Be a senior, expecting to graduate in June 2015
-Be of Italian-American descent
-Submit a completed scholarship application, 2 letters of recommendation, official transcript, copy of ACT/SAT test scores, wallet size photo of yourself and personal statement by the due date (April 30, 2015) with all the necessary requirements

The Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation (“the Foundation”) supports the charitable endeavors of the Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce.

STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
The Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation will award up to two (2) scholarships to qualified students graduating from Oconomowoc High School in 2015. Each $500 scholarship is intended to offset the cost of secondary university or technical college education.
The application deadline is April 30, 2015. Completed scholarship applications must be submitted electronically to chamber@oconomowoc.org in order to be considered.

2015 Nature Hill Intermediate School Scholarship

2015 Nature Hill Intermediate School Scholarship :

Nature Hill Intermediate School is offering two $1000 scholarships to an Oconomowoc High School senior (s) who intends to enter into the educational field. While all students are encouraged to apply, those who attended Nature Hill will be given special consideration.

Applicants Must:


Successfully obtain an OHS diploma

Have a desire to enter into a career in education after graduation

Demonstrate a commitment to education both in and out of school

2015 Fine Arts Scholarship Award of the Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts, LTD. :

Scholarships will be awarded based in part on talent and teacher recommendation in the areas of visual, literary and the performing arts.  .
Applicants Must:
be pursuing a degree in the fine arts, either performing or visual

reside within the Oconomowoc Area School District boundaries or be a student at Oconomowoc High School

provide a resume, grade transcript, one additional sheet listing (community activities, school activities, employment, honors/awards earned), 3 letters of recommendation, statement of purpose, and one self-addressed stamped envelope letter-size


If chosen for an interview, be prepared to discuss art pieces or music/theater selection in detail.
art students, bring no less than three and no more than six pieces of artwork to share with the judges.  All two dimensional work must be mounted (does not have to be framed).  Please include at least one example of something you have made outside of a classroom assignment.

This scholarship is awarded to any full-time student who is a customer or whose guardian is a customer of Oconomowoc Utilities.  Dependents of utility personnel are not eligible.

The Ashippun Lions Club is pleased to offer scholarships in amount of $500 to graduating high school seniors and to continuing college students.
Applicants Must:
-Reside in the Township of Ashippun or be a son/daughter of an Ashippun Lion Member
-Be a graduating high school senior or enrolled in an accredited college or university.  Higher consideration will be given to applicants pursuing an education in the fields of health care(especially in sight and hearing oriented programs) or elementary education
-Have attained a minimum cumulative GPAof at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
-Submit a completed scholarship application by the due date (April 16, 2015) with all the necessary requirements
-Submit a copy of the applicant's most recent academic transcript
-Include a recent photograph or high school senior picture

Oconomowoc American Legion Band Scholarship 2015

2015 Oconomowoc American Legion Band Scholarship

The Oconomowoc American Legion Band is offering two $500 scholarship opportunities for any Oconomowoc High School Senior who will be continuing their education with college or technical school.  Each winner is expected to play as often as possible with the Oconomowoc American Legion Band for the summer concert season including parades.

All applications must include two current letters of reference, one of which is from an individual in the music field who has knowledge of the applicant’s abilities.

Auditions will be held in May, 2015 on a date to be announced at Dr. Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc.  Times will be assigned depending on the number of applicants.  Auditions may be accompanied if desired.

Oconomowoc Branch Scholarship

The American Association of University of Women, Oconomowoc Branch, a non-profit organization that advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, and research, will award one 1000.00 scholarships for Spring 2015.


Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Must be a graduating high school senior girl, living in Oconmowoc Area School District, and be planning to attend a post secondary school for the Fall 2105 semester
  2. Applicants must submit a typed essay of 250-500 words answering the following questions:
How does the role of education impact the current and future equity of women and girls worldwide?
What impact do you see for yourself the importance of education playing in your current and future life?

Must submit the following information which will include:
Cover letter introducing themselves, name, address, phone number, email address, and name of school attending this fall.
