Oconomowoc Branch Scholarship
The American Association of University of Women, Oconomowoc Branch, a non-profit organization that advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, and research, will award one 1000.00 scholarships for Spring 2015.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a graduating high school senior girl, living in Oconmowoc Area School District, and be planning to attend a post secondary school for the Fall 2105 semester
- Applicants must submit a typed essay of 250-500 words answering the following questions:
How does the role of education impact the current and future equity of women and girls worldwide?
What impact do you see for yourself the importance of education playing in your current and future life?
Must submit the following information which will include:
Cover letter introducing themselves, name, address, phone number, email address, and name of school attending this fall.
Recent school transcript
A reference letter from a recent school teacher
Entries must be postmarked by May 1st and should be sent to Chardy Booth, 3848 Sawyer Road, Oconomowoc, WI 53066. Scholarship recipients will be selected by the end of May with awards given in June. For any questions, contact Chardy Booth, 262-567-2643, chardybooth3@gmail.com
