Oconomowoc American Legion Band Scholarship 2013

Oconomowoc American Legion Band 2013 Scholarship Program

The Oconomowoc Legion Band is offering two $500 in scholarships for Oconomowoc High School seniors who will be continuing their education in college or technical school.  Recipients will be expected to play with the Legion Band for the 2013 summer concert season including parades as scheduled.

Applicants Must:

Provide two separate letters of reference, with at least one from an individual in the music field who has direct knowledge of your abilities

Be able to attend an audition in May 2013 at Dr. Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc

Be able to play with the Legion Band for the 2013 summer concert season including parades as scheduled.

UW-Stevens Point Trytten Scholar Program 2013:

Applicants Must:

-Be high school senior
-Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50

-Must plan to attend UW-Stevens Point and intend to major in chemistry during the 2012-2013 school year

2013 Pagel Graphic Arts Scholarship:

This scholarship is awarded to any full-time student pursuing some form of post-secondary education in the print communications industry.  Scholarships will be awarded based on academic performance, outside activities and financial need.

Applicants Must:

-Be a full-time student attending school in Wisconsin

-Plan to pursue some form of post-secondary education in the graphic communications industry.
-Scholarships will be awarded based on academic performance, outside activities and financial need.

Empire Beauty Schools Scholarship Opportunities

Empire Education Group and Empire Beauty Schools offer scholarships in the amounts of 1500, 1000 and 500 dollars to any high school senior enrolled in Empire Education Group's full cosmetology program at select loactions is eligible to apply for Empire funded high school scholarships.
Applicants Must:

-Be a graduating high school senior
-Submit application and permission form to the Career Planning Specialist at the respective Empire location in which they hae enrolled by May 1st of their senior year

-Submit a creative submission which they will bring to Scholarship Day event

The Badgerland Financial Scholarship is based on agricultural leadership, activities, and interest in pursuing a career in agriculture or ag-related field.

-Live or attend school in the 33 county area served by Badgerland Financial (Waukesha is included)

-Be a graduating senior with plans to pursue a study in agriculture or ag-related curriulum at vocational school or four year university
