NAACP - Waukesha County Branch Scholarship 2012

-Must be at least 16 years old and must be high school junior or graduating high school senior

-Be of African American descent, citizen of the United States, resident of the Metropolitan Milwaukee area
-Cannot be employees, ex-officio members or members of the Executive Committee of the Waukesha NAACP or close relatives(children and/or spouses)
-Must possess a grade point average sufficent to be admitted to an accredited college or university
-Must be planning on being a full-time undergraduate student

-Submit a completed scholarship application (no attachments), 3 letters of recommendation (one high school teacher, one high school guidance counselor and one personal  reference{NAACP reference is recommended}), official transcript, and copy of application for admission or letter of acceptance from college or university.  All these materials need to be submitted by the due date (May 30, 2012)

Amount:

One winner will receive $10,000 and 5 winners will receive $1000
