Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship 2015

Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship 2015

The Elks National Foundation administers the Most Valuable Student Scholarship designed for high school seniors intending to enroll in college. The Watertown Elks Lodge participates in this scholarship program.
Students interested in applying for a scholarship may obtain information and the application online at http://www.elks.org/enf/scholars/mvs.cfm.  In order for an application to be considered at the District level judging, the application must be completed via a computer using the online application.
The student will supply the following information via the application:  the student’s work experience, community service, honors and awards, leadership and extracurricular activities, citizenship, family income range and status, and exhibits. The applicant must also supply a completed counselor’s report, transcript and ACT and/or SAT scores.
Applications must advance through local, district and state competitions to reach national judging. The Chicago office of the Elks National Foundation will notify the 500 national finalists by email.  To be eligible for an award, national finalists will be required to submit a secondary application online. The national finalists will also be required to mail their Student Aid Report to the ENF.
Here is a recap of the program:
