Oconomowoc Education Association Scholarship Opportunities 2012
The Oconomowoc Education Association will again be supporting students wishing to further their education. Two scholarships for $900 each will be awarded to qualified candidates this fall.
One scholarship is available for graduates of Oconomowoc High School who are pursuing careers in teaching. The applicants must have completed at least one year of college and must have been accepted into the school of education at their colleges or universities.
The second scholarship is available to children of members of the Oconomowoc Education Association who are high school graduates and are pursuing higher education in any field.
Criteria for both scholarships will include financial need, academic record, activities and involvement record, letters of recommendation, and short essays. Scholarship forms may be picked up in the Student Services Office at Oconomowoc High School or by contacting Jodi Schlender by e-mail at Jodi.schlender@mail.oasd.k12.wi.us The deadline for applying for the scholarships is November 9, 2012. Recipients will be notified by November 30, 2012.
