Welcome to the OCONScholarship Blog!

Welcome to the 2011-2012 School Year!  Scholarships have begun to arrive.  As new scholarships are made available throughout this school year, we will post to this blog.  Make sure you sign up for our Tweets by going to Twitter@OCONSCHOLARSHIP.com  You will be the first to know when new scholarships are posted.  For a more comprehensive scholarship listing please visit the Oconomowoc High School website's "student services" page.
Here are a few to start the year:

THE OCONOMOWOC SCHOLARSHIP FUND:

Applicants Must:
-Be a resident of the Oconomowoc Area School District
-Be a senior of Oconomowoc High School
-Be planning to attend a two year program at a technical college or four years of undergraduate study

Amount:
$1000 per year ($500/semester for two year program) or $2000 per year ($1000/semester for four year program)
**Students who remain in good standing are able to renew the scholarship each year of study. (Total $8000 for a four year program or total $2000 for a two year program)

THE PRUDENTIAL SPIRIT OF COMMUNITY AWARD:
Applicants Must:
-Be a high school student
-Have made a difference through volunteering during the past year

Amount:
$1000

November 1st, 2011

The AES Engineers Scholarship - Deadline Approaching:

Applicants Must:
-Be a high school senior planning on attending a post secondary educational facility
-Submit an essay which will be evaluated based on character.  Their belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped.


Important:  Scholarships are intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study. This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility.You are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible.

Amount:
$500
